OPAA Management Announces President Circle Winner

The top 20 percent of Opaa! Food Management’s Directors of Nutrition Services were inducted into the President’s Circle, at the company’s awards banquet. The ceremony took place as the kickoff to the annual Leadership Conference, held at the St. Charles Convention Center, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri.
Among the honored was Lisa Fiorino from Excelsior Springs. Fiorino received a bonus check, a framed certificate, an engraved apple award(symbolic of Opaa!’s logo), and other prizes to celebrate the milestone.This marked the 1st time that Fiorino received the honor. The President’s Circle award represents outstanding achievement in all areas of executing the child nutrition program at the Director’s school district. Areas measured include student participation, marketing, food and worker safety, cost and inventory management, and relationship with the school district.

? New Director of the Year – Jennette Hancock, Colcord (OK) Public Schools
? Employee of the Year – Maude Conrad, Portageville (MO) School District
? Kitchen Manager of the Year – Sara Erickson, Lathrop (MO) School District
? Farm to School Partner – Southern Boone Learning Garden
? Outstanding Marketing – Brandy Kesler, Van Buren (MO) and Lisa Baker, Harrisburg (MO)
